Stroke Clinics

,

Competitive Stroke Clinics

So your child does not want to swim with a year-round team, but he or she does want the opportunity to maintain endurance and work on stroke technique. What are your options? The Can Am competitive stroke clinics will meet both those needs for your swimmer.

These stroke clinics will offer swimmers the opportunity to receive great stroke technique correction on all 4 competitve stroke and turns as well as the chance to practice those corrections immediately.

This program is designed for swimmers 7 - 8, 9 - 10 and 11 - 12. All swimmers MUST be able to swim the length of the pool doing freestyle and backstroke. Swimmers who can not swim the length or who are 6 and under are welcome to swim in other Can Am Aquatics programs designed to help them reach that skill.

Dayna Palmer has been coaching competitive swimmers since 1988 and has realized that proper stroke technique and fast turns are the key to helping swimmers obtain faster times and realize their swimming goals more quickly.

If your swimmer would like to go into the 2007 summer season more prepared with tools to help them swim faster then these clinics are what you are looking for!!

At the end of each 10 week lesson set each child will receive an individualized report card that will update both parent and child on the progress that has been made.  This report card will be helpful in seeing which skills your child is excelling in and which skills may still require more work.

When a child completes all the skills required in a level they will automatically begin working on the skills for the next level.  Each level builds on the skills learned in the last level so this is an easy transition for both student and teacher.
